Welcome to academic year 2025-2026 and The Government Professional College Banas-Paithani, Pauri Garhwal which is the one and only professional College in Uttarakhand Higher Education Department.

As A Dean of The GPC Banas-Paithani, Pauri Garhwal, it’s my pleasure to welcome you to our website and from our college side, and invite you to explore the programs, research, and people that make our college one of the top in the State. I extend this welcome with assurance that we are committed to providing you quality education and valuable practical experience in a collegial environment. Your education will not only focus on knowledge acquisition but also on developing your professional competence through a rigorous and contemporary program that would enhance your research competencies, critical thinking and ability to work in teams.

The Faculty of Professional College is comprised of five departments, BCA, BBA, B.Sc. Comp Sc. Professional, B.Sc. Food Technology, and B.Sc. Non Conventional Energy  and We also provide Traditional Courses like B.Sc. (ZBC) and B.Sc. (PCM). We are providing basic education in every professional field and intake of each department of professional courses is 40 students per year and 60 students in Traditional courses. We welcome you to join us in upholding and preserving the values we cherish as an excellent academic college that fosters respectful, supportive and a welcoming environment. Through providing an academic environment that eschews innovation and best practices, we ready our students to succeed in a highly competitive global environment. The infrastructure and laboratory facilities are being upgraded from time to time so as to provide adequate opportunities to students and researchers to learn and carry out technological innovations. Financial support for this purpose provided by the Central &Uttarakhand government and PM-USHA/RUSA schemes.
