Physics Department
About Physics Department
Physics has been a major subject in our B.Sc. program since the college opened in 2021. Our curriculum follows the NEP 2020 policy and choice-based credit system, giving students a complete education with many options in core subjects, electives, and skill-building courses. We plan to add postgraduate courses soon so students can specialize and research in different physics areas. Our department has all the needed lab equipment for B.Sc. students. We focus on giving students both hands-on experience and theoretical knowledge. Students can access about 400 physics textbooks and 250 reference books in the college library. We regularly hold academic and extra activities to help students learn about new technologies and share their creative ideas.
Beyond regular classes, the department offers sessions covering NPTEL’s MOOC materials to help students excel in Physics. Teachers also share their own video lessons/lecturer through online platforms like What’s up and YouTube.
